Bidadari in the Indonesian language means "Angels" or "Heavenly Spirits". It is apropos that this stunning Villa caressing the Cliffside above the Indian Ocean is called Bidadari Cliffside Estate. The Bidadari Angel Glass Sculpture was commissioned by Seiki Torige of Seiki Glass, Gianyar Regency, Bali. The stylized Bidadari Translucent Angel ascends from the tranquil reflecting pool at the Central Garden Atrium.
Upon your arrival at Bidadari Cliffside Estate, attentive Security Guards will greet your chauffeured automobile at the driveway substantial louvered gates. You will be ushered into the private central motor court where the Villa Manager awaits to introduce you to the property and villa staff. Through the doorway of the reflecting pool floating wall you enter into the Central Garden Courtyard. The lush courtyard garden hosts two monumental yet contemplative Buddha statues that smile with welcome blessings.
A more intimate view of the ocean cove below can be experienced by taking the inclinator down the cliffside to the charming Balinese-style Cabana. The procession through the Bidadari Cliffside Estate gardens, villa, and ocean view vantage points is simply breathtaking.
The dramatic double-height Villa entry foyer reveals itself through a cascade of garden vines. Suspended stairs ascend to the two private master suites above. Elongated glass panel sliding doors open into the grandly scaled heart of the Villa; the loft-like open living room and dining room. From this impressive space you can see beyond the infinity edge elliptical swimming pool to the expansive horizon of the Indian Ocean. |

Bedrooms
Bidadari Cliffside Estate is consist of 4 king sized bedrooms, 3 bedrooms in the main building and the other bedroom (cabana) is standing on the cliff. The master bedrooms (Master suite 1 & Master suite 2) located in the upstair looking out to the blue ocean and separated by media room. Each master suites has a wonderful outdoor bathtub with natural & lush garden. The guest room located in the downstair near by living and dining room.
The most fantastic bedroom is in the cabana, located on the edge of the down cliff facing the blue ocean. To go this bedroom you can walk by stairs or ride the inclinator provided beside the cliff.
Outdoor bathtub
The master baths Japanese-inspired soaking tubs beckon guests to relax and enjoy a long hot bath. The oversized tubs are big enough for two and are surrounded by a sky garden to preserve privacy.
Library & Media Room
Enjoy an extensive selection of books and magazines featuring Balinese Culture, Art, and Architecture. Several of the books are limited editions that are signed by the authors. You can also enjoy viewing Cable TV or movies selected from the DVD Library.
Kitchen
Whether you love to cook or prefer just to plan a menu, the Chef kitchen at Bidadari Cliffside Estate has all of the modern conveniences of a professional kitchen. Swimming Pool
The unique elliptically-shaped infinity edge swimming pool gives the visual impression of water falling into the Indian Ocean beyond. The pool is tiled with hand selected Indian slate stone that radiates the same blue tones as the expansive Ocean below. Iron Wood decking surrounds the pool and is set with oversized daybed loungers that double as outdoor sofas in the evening.

The Balinese are famous for their relaxing Bali Massage and invigorating Deep Tissue Massage. Have the Villa Manager book your massage preference with the trained Massage Therapist. Portable Massage Tables can be set up virtually anywhere in the Villa or Cliffside Cabana.

The Bidadari Cliffside Estate comes complete with an English speaking Driver who will greet you at the airport upon your arrival. The luxury Estate Van easily accommodates two couples with ample space for luggage or up to 8 passengers with driver for sightseeing. You can plan your schedule spontaneously or provide the Driver with a complete itinerary in advance for your desired travels.
Inclinator
Enter the Inclinator Carriage and descend from Pool Side to the lower Cabana. Enjoy the Cliffside Garden and Ocean View.
Gym
The Gym Room is located in the lower level of the Balinese Cabana building and has expansive views of the Indian Ocean. It can be air conditioned or fully opened to the sea breezes and ocean scents.
Outdoor BBQ
An outdoor Weber gas barbecue is available for grilling your favorite foods. A full set of profesional barbeque utensils allows you to grill like a pro.
Staffs
Bidadari Cliffside Estate has a staff of over 14 fully trained and experienced House Staff. The entire Villa House Staff is focused on providing the best service possible to make guests feel comfortable and at home. The Balinese have a well deserved reputation for their gracious service and intuitive sense to know when privacy is required. The Bidadari Cliffside Service Staff will look after your well being and warm your heart.
Private Cheff
Great food will be a focal point during your stay at Bidadari Cliffside Estate. The House Chef is experienced on the preparation of both Western food and Asian food. The Chef will be happy to introduce you to quality Indonesian cuisine utilizing the best and freshest local ingredients. When Western style cuisine is desired the Chef can turn-out some of the most delicious meals available on the Island. We encourage you to feel free to request a wide variety of meals that the Chef will expertly prepare for you during your stay. If you have special dietary requirements or food allergies, just advise the Chef upon your arrival and he will thoughtfully meet your dietary requirements.
Massage Therapists
One of the key results of your Bidadari Cliffside Estate experience should be total relaxation and stress relief. Perhaps the best way to achieve this state of being is through a massage provided by one of our recommended Massage Therapists. Plan your message appointment through the Villa Manager and the Therapist will come directly to the villa for your treatment.
Housekeeper
The Houskeeing Service Staff will keep everything orderly and clean around the Villa during your stay. They will fluff your pillows and make your bed every morning and provide you with a constant supply of fresh fluffy bathroom towels. Every detail will be looked after to assure the villa remains immaculately maintained for your enjoyment.
Laundry
Bidadari Cliffside Estate is equipped with a large-size profesional washer and dryer. Just give the Villa Manager or Housekeeping Staff instructions on what personal items you would like laundered and those items will be carefully washed and dried and returned to you. Bed sheets will be laundered every-other day unless you request otherwise. Fresh towels are provided daily. Should you have anything that you wish to dry-clean, please speak with the Villa Manager who can organize this service and advise you when the dry cleaning can be returned to you. There will be additional charges for dry cleaning.

Private Security
Bali histrionically has very little crime or incidences of home burglaries particularly in the Banjar or neighborhood where Bidadari Cliffside Estate is located. However Bidadari Cliffside Estate Management for your privacy and protection has a full-time 24 hours per-day Security Officer Watch circulating around the property parameter. The Private Security force is professionally trained on how to handle a would-be intruder and will work with the local Police should there be such an occurrence. You will see the friendly Security Personnel wearing their Informal Tropical Tan Uniforms as you enter the Estate.

The Executive Chef at Bidadari Cliffside Estate can provide you with personalized cooking classes highlighting Indonesian food made with fresh local ingredients. Learn how to make a Balinese favorite like Soto Ayam (Savory Chicken Noodle Soup) or something more complex like a Bebek Betutu (Balinese Duck roasted with traditional spices). And for the adventurous who like it hot, explore the varieties of Balinese Sambal (Hot local chilies mixed with local spices to make a hot savory seasoning paste). The Chef will be happy to write down the recipes for you so that you can reproduce these dishes when you get back home.
Paragliding
The updraft breezes along the Bidadari Cliffside Estate coastline create an ideal environment for Paragliding. This sensational and skillful sport suspends the rider from a kite-like glider. A rainbow of gliders can be seen from the villa as the Paragliders wisk silently along the coastline edge. Should you be so daring, your Villa Manager can set you up with a professional Paraglider for an assisted Paraglide experience , available seasonally.
Fishing
Many varieties of fish can be found along the Bidadari Cliffside Estate Coastline. Cast your line in the waters along the cove and you just might catch a red snapper. Or if you prefer to leave that task up to a local fisherman, have the Chef order fresh fish from the Kelp Farmers and they can often find local crab and delicious fresh fish that can be prepared by your Chef for your dining delight.

Ocean Kayaks are available for exploring the beautiful and dramatic coastline surrounding the Bidadari Cliffside location. Explore the gentle coves during low tide and discover the scenic beauty of the virgin beaches.

Uluwatu Temple
Bali is often referred to as the "Island of the Gods" due to the Hindu religious practices and temples that are so much a part of the Balinese culture. Pura Luther Uluwatu Temple is located on the most Southern tip of Bali and is relatively close to Bidadari Cliffside Estate. The Uluwatu temple compound is situated on a cliff top at the edge of a plateau 250 feet above the waves of the Indian Ocean. The temple was originally founded in the 10th century making it one of the oldest temples in Bali. Later additions to the Uluwatu site were added over the following 5 centuries. Uluwatu is dedicated to the spirits of the sea and is in fact made from black coral rock excavated from the ocean cliffs below. The sunsets viewed from Uluwatu are famously beautiful. Check with the Villa Manager regarding appropriate attire for visiting the Balinese Hindu Temples as there is an important dress code to respect.
Beach Cove Access
From the Balinese Cabana at Bidadari Cliffside Estate you can access a rustic stairway built by the Balinese Kelp Farmers leading down to a private Beach Cove. The pristine fine white sands of the cove feel stimulating on your bare feet. Footprints in the sand are washed away every high-tide so your prints may be the only impressions seen on the beach that day. It doesn't get any more serene and contemplative than to take a walk along the private cove during low tide to witness the jagged limestone cliffs contrasted against the smooth delicate sand under foot.
Aqua Farming
Aqua Farming along the natural reef-protected cove below Bidadari Cliffside Estate has a similar beauty to rice paddy farming. The seaweed farmers plant tiny shoots of seaweed in beds submerged along the coastline. Clear ocean water and lots of sunlight nourish the seaweed in a 45-day growth cycle prior to harvesting and drying the seaweed for market. Generations of seaweed farmers have lived and supported their families producing and harvesting this fragile seaweed. The carrageenan substance obtained from the seaweed is used as a natural cosmetic ingredient. Agar, the other key ingredient is a vegetable gel that can be sweetened as a gelatin dessert. These natural ingredients are sought after in Asia and the rest of the world for their purity and rarity.
